The tilt bar can be removed from the louvers by pulling toward you - the T-shaped connectors should be fine.

Once removed, remove the top cap from the tilt bar:

The connectors will then slide out from the opening:

To replace, simply reverse the process and snap the T-shaped connector back in to the louver opening. 

As for the price, I can send out quite a few at N/C to you, but would need to know a number of connectors and the size of the louvers (2 1/2, 3 1/2, 4 1/2).  If you let me know based on the number of louvers, I can send that amount.
