The tilt bar can be removed
from the louvers by pulling toward you - the T-shaped connectors should be
fine.
Once removed, remove the top cap from the tilt bar:

The connectors will then
slide out from the opening:
To replace, simply reverse the process and snap the T-shaped connector back in to the louver opening.
